At our practice in Oxford Circus (W1W), all of our therapists are qualified psychologists, psychotherapists or counsellors. They are registered with several professional bodies, including the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), the British Psychological Society (BPS), as well as, BACP, UKCP and BABCP. They use CBT (Cognitive behavioral therapy), psychodynamic, humanistic and integrative approaches, tailored around your needs to help you deal with your challenges and reach your goals.
Please meet our team
I am a BABCP accredited Cognitive Behaviour Psychotherapist. I have over 11 years of experience working in NHS mental health services in various capacities. As well as working in private practice I also work in the NHS in a specialist Community Eating Disorder Service.
I am a compassionate and warm cognitive behaviour psychotherapist. I believe in empowering people to make positive and meaningful changes which lead to improving their wellbeing and sense of self. I feel everyone deserves to live the life that is meaningful to them and to develop long lasting and positive coping skills.
Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) explores how our thoughts, feelings and behaviours are connected and how sometimes we can get caught up in unhelpful strategies that can make our difficulties unintentionally worse over time. I pride myself in creatively tailoring CBT to every individual I meet, working with you to meet your goals. I aim to offer support and guidance as we explore and understand your difficulties together.
I have also competed EMDR training with EMDR UK and Europe and hope to work towards full accreditation in the next 18months.
In my practice I also draw upon compassion focused therapy and mindfulness techniques which compliment my skills in CBT.
Although I have worked across a diverse range of areas, my main area of expertise is with eating disorders including Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa and Binge Eating Disorder. I have had specific training in CBT-E.
