At our practice in Oxford Circus (W1W), all of our therapists are qualified psychologists, psychotherapists or counsellors. They are registered with several professional bodies, including the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), the British Psychological Society (BPS), as well as, BACP, UKCP and BABCP. They use CBT (Cognitive behavioral therapy), psychodynamic, humanistic and integrative approaches, tailored around your needs to help you deal with your challenges and reach your goals.
Please meet our team
I am an Integrative Counsellor, registered with the BACP, who has experience working therapeutically with people in the NHS, schools, charity organisations, and private practice. As a therapist, I am warm and compassionate and value building an engaged therapeutic relationship which supports people to gain greater self-awareness and explore choices.
I have a Degree in Psychology, a Master’s Degree in Counselling, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Psychology (Counselling). I am trained in a variety of approaches to therapy and have worked extensively with people experiencing depression, anxiety, relationship issues, emotional eating behaviours, poor self-esteem, and low confidence. Additionally, I have worked as part of the Psychology team in the NHS offering assessments and psychological therapy to people living with obesity. This included specialising in compassion-focused therapy. I have also worked in charity organisations offering solution-focused and cognitive-behavioural therapy to young people struggling with self-harming behaviours.
Working intuitively and listening to where people are in their current life circumstances, also their hopes for therapy, I adapt my approach to each individual. My practice is also influenced by my background in mindfulness and Buddhist psychology. I have practiced meditation with Buddhist communities in the UK and overseas. Whilst I attend meditation retreats regularly, I also take more of an open approach to spirituality, aligning mostly with Christianity and Buddhism. I welcome people from all faiths and spiritual backgrounds, and from none.
