At our practice in Oxford Circus (W1W), all of our therapists are qualified psychologists, psychotherapists or counsellors. They are registered with several professional bodies, including the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), the British Psychological Society (BPS), as well as, BACP, UKCP and BABCP. They use CBT (Cognitive behavioral therapy), psychodynamic, humanistic and integrative approaches, tailored around your needs to help you deal with your challenges and reach your goals.

I completed my professional doctorate in counselling psychology at City University, in London and have over 10 years of clinical experience working within the mental health field, in various settings, such as the NHS, a privately run mental health clinic for eating disorders and the not-for-profit sector, in South Africa and the UK. I have significant training and experience using cognitive behavioural therapy with a specialist focus on working with complex trauma reactions; and am currently doing further training in psychoanalytic groupwork. I use an integrative therapeutic approach that incorporates various psychotherapeutic frameworks, such as psychodynamic, person-centred, compassion-focussed therapy, to help me understand my clients’ difficulties and work together with clients to decide the approach that would best suit their therapy goals.
One of my interest areas is how clients’ faith/religious beliefs are addressed in psychotherapy which was my research topic for my doctoral thesis, and I am passionate about working holistically, with both the mind and soul. I try to provide a therapeutic space where clients feel at ease and fully accepted for who they are and can explore their problems feeling acknowledged and supported emotionally. My aim is to accompany clients on an empathic therapeutic journey that helps them transform dark places of woundedness and trauma and troubling patterns of disorder, into life and well-being; to enable them to find renewal in these bruised and painful spaces and to create something fresh and new. As part of the therapeutic process, I am also passionate about helping clients (re)discover their hidden strengths/talents and connect meaningfully with their unique purpose, to know their ‘why’ and find direction and fulfilment in their lives.
