At our practice in Oxford Circus (W1W), all of our therapists are qualified psychologists, psychotherapists or counsellors. They are registered with several professional bodies, including the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), the British Psychological Society (BPS), as well as, BACP, UKCP and BABCP. They use CBT (Cognitive behavioral therapy), psychodynamic, humanistic and integrative approaches, tailored around your needs to help you deal with your challenges and reach your goals.
Please meet our team
I am a BABCP accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist working in NHS Talking Therapies, alongside my private practice. I have almost 20 years’ experience of working with people experiencing mental health difficulties in the UK & Ireland.
I firmly believe that the strength of the therapeutic relationship is paramount in facilitating positive outcomes and lasting change. Compassionate care is a cornerstone of my practice, and I create a safe and nurturing space where clients feel valued, understood, and supported as they work towards improving their mental health.
I primarily use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to guide my clients in exploring their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. I use an integrative approach, which includes Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to foster psychological flexibility and resilience which empowers clients to engage in meaningful activities even in the presence of discomfort. I also incorporate Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) techniques to help my clients reduce self-criticism, enhance emotional well-being and overall develop a more compassionate and understanding attitude toward themselves and others.
I have a special interest in long term physical health conditions, which can impact your psychological health but can also be affected by your mental health. My other special interests include women’s mental health including perinatal, menstrual and menopause, and older adult’s mental health.
If you have worries about the judgement of other people, too many worries, worries about your health, intrusive thoughts, panic symptoms, a fear of an object or animal, experienced a traumatic event, struggling with changes in your physical health or are distressed by the diagnosis of a long-term condition, have long covid symptoms such as fatigue, you lack motivation, feel sad, you are experiencing burnout from work, having trouble sleeping, I can help.
Together, we can navigate your challenges and work towards a brighter, more fulfilling future. Feel free to reach out, and let’s begin this journey towards healing and growth together.
