At our practice in Oxford Circus (W1W), all of our therapists are qualified psychologists, psychotherapists or counsellors. They are registered with several professional bodies, including the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), the British Psychological Society (BPS), as well as, BACP, UKCP and BABCP. They use CBT (Cognitive behavioral therapy), psychodynamic, humanistic and integrative approaches, tailored around your needs to help you deal with your challenges and reach your goals.
Please meet our team
I have worked in a variety of settings (mental health and school systems) since 2008, helping individuals, children, young and families overcome the challenges and grow. Since 2019 I am working as a registered psychologist in the UK. I am registered both with the HCPC as a registered psychologist and the BPS as a chartered psychologist (CPsychol).
With a special interest in Anxiety Disorders, Complex PTSD & Developmental Trauma and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), I went on to complete additional training in this area, including Traumatic Stress Studies Certificate (by Dr Bessel van der Kolk, Boston), trauma-focused CBT and EMDR. Both of these therapeutic approaches are recommended as the first line of treatment for adults in the UK, according to the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence guidelines (NICE).
Besides working with adults, I am also working with children, young and families. I am a registered play therapist (RPT) by the Association for Play Therapy (APT), which promotes the value of play, play therapy and credentialed play therapists. As part of my clinical work, I am implementing evidence-based psychological interventions – both short-term and long-term. I am trained in directive and non-directive play therapy namely child centred play therapy and cognitive behavioural play therapy, TF-CBT as well as in trauma-play. In my therapeutic work, I also integrate solution-focused therapy, strategic family therapy as well as filial therapy to enhance child-family relationships.
Having practised and lived in different countries, I have experience in different cultural backgrounds and mental health settings both in private practice and outpatient clinics.
