Get to know us - Dr Samantha Harris
At our practice in Oxford Circus (W1W), all of our therapists are qualified psychologists, psychotherapists or counsellors. They are registered with several professional bodies, including the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), the British Psychological Society (BPS), as well as, BACP, UKCP and BABCP. They use CBT (Cognitive behavioral therapy), psychodynamic, humanistic and integrative approaches, tailored around your needs to help you deal with your challenges and reach your goals.

Samantha is a HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist with over 10 years of experience working in NHS adult mental health services, including in-patient wards, community teams and primary care.
She completed her Professional Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of East London. Samantha also currently works in a NHS community mental health service with adults who have experienced psychosis. She has previously trained and worked as Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, and has experience of working with people experiencing a wide range of psychological difficulties including anxiety, low mood, trauma, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, stress and eating difficulties. She offers an integrative approach drawing on a range of therapeutic models such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Narrative Therapy (NT) and Systemic approaches. Samantha endeavours to work creatively and collaboratively to ensure therapy is tailored to your individual preferences, needs and goals.
Samantha provides a warm, genuine, non-judgemental and safe space to explore your difficulties and enable you to make meaningful change. She strongly believes in the value of making sense of our current circumstances in the context of our life experiences. Samantha hopes to enable clients to explore their personal resources and build on their existing resilience and self-knowledge.
