Please meet our team
I have experience working clinically with individuals with a variety of presenting difficulties including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, self-criticism and unresolved trauma. I have worked in a number of different mental health and physical health settings within the NHS.
I am passionate about facilitating comprehensive assessment, formulation and therapeutic support to meet the needs of the individuals I work with. I place great importance on building rapport and developing secure therapeutic relationships through which individuals can feel safe to engage with the therapeutic process without feeling they will be judged or misunderstood.
I work in an integrative manner, drawing upon different models, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy skills, to meet the therapeutic needs of individuals I work with. Collaboration is always at the heart of my work, empowering individuals to feel able to make sense of their difficulties and navigate their journey through life.
