Please meet our team
Lydia is an experienced Cognitive Behavioural Therapist with nine years’ clinical practice across both NHS and private settings, most recently at North London Priory. She holds a BSc in Psychology from the University of York and a Master’s degree in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy from Goldsmiths, University of London. She is a registered member of the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP).
Lydia works with adults experiencing anxiety, low mood, stress, and patterns of self-doubt, offering a thoughtful and highly personalised therapeutic experience. Her approach is grounded in CBT and informed by a range of evidence-based modalities, including ACT, DBT, and CFT, allowing her to adapt her work with sensitivity to each individual.
Her style is warm, attentive, and collaborative. Lydia places particular importance on developing a strong therapeutic relationship in which clients feel at ease to speak openly and explore their inner world with honesty and depth. She listens carefully, offering considered reflections that support greater clarity and self-understanding, while empowering clients to take an active role in creating meaningful and lasting change.
Working often with individuals managing demanding or high-pressure lives, Lydia supports clients in stepping back from unhelpful patterns, strengthening emotional resilience, and cultivating a more balanced and grounded way of being. She aims to equip clients with the insight and tools they need to navigate challenges with greater confidence and autonomy, both within and beyond therapy.
Lydia’s work is characterised by compassion, curiosity, and respect for each person’s individuality. She offers a calm, confidential space in which clients can reflect, recalibrate, and move forward with a renewed sense of perspective, self-trust, and confidence.
