At our practice in Oxford Circus (W1W), all of our therapists are qualified psychologists, psychotherapists or counsellors. They are registered with several professional bodies, including the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), the British Psychological Society (BPS), as well as, BACP, UKCP and BABCP. They use CBT (Cognitive behavioral therapy), psychodynamic, humanistic and integrative approaches, tailored around your needs to help you deal with your challenges and reach your goals.
Please meet our team
I am Nebahate Ejupi (Nebi), an Accredited CBT Psychotherapist and Supervisor, EMDR and NET therapist. I have experience in working with a wide range of mental health difficulties, including depression, anxiety, panic, body dysmorphia, phobias, OCD, anxiety/depression in the context of chronic health problems, PTSD and complex PTSD. I have been trained in multiple approaches and have lengthy experience in working with the above problems.
I initially meet with clients to try and understand their problems as well as their maintaining stuck cycles and to conceptualise these problems together with them. I then offer goal-directed, evidence-based interventions to tackle their mainating processes.
Empathy, compassion and positive regard are my guiding principles which normally result in strong therapeutic alliances with my clients.
My ultimate goal as a therapist is to help my clients develop skills to break these cycles in case they become stuck again in the future. This not only helps them develop their confidence so that they can problem-solve on their own, but also gives them the skills to manage future relapses.
In my sessions I use CBT, as well as 3rd wave CBT (ACT, CFT and Mindfulness) approaches. In trauma therapy I can use CBT, EMDR or NET therapy depending on the presentation and client preference.
