At our practice in Oxford Circus (W1W), all of our therapists are qualified psychologists, psychotherapists or counsellors. They are registered with several professional bodies, including the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), the British Psychological Society (BPS), as well as, BACP, UKCP and BABCP. They use CBT (Cognitive behavioral therapy), psychodynamic, humanistic and integrative approaches, tailored around your needs to help you deal with your challenges and reach your goals.

Anna is a committed and compassionate bilingual Counselling Psychologist who provides adult psychological therapy in English and Polish. She is a registered member of the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC) and a Chartered member of the British Psychological Society (BPS). Anna is also an appointed Member of the Division of Counselling Psychology Committee, taking a lead on Physical Health and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI). Her academic journey includes a Master’s in Psychology from the University of Warsaw and a Professional Doctorate in Counselling Psychology from York St John University.
Deeply grounded in the core values of counselling psychology, Anna employs an integrative therapeutic approach. By blending a wide range of psychological modalities, including Person-Centred therapy, Psychodynamic therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Anna tailors therapy to deeply connect with each client’s individual experiences and needs. Anna is also trained in EMDR.
Anna’s practice is characterised by providing a supportive and non-judgmental environment where clients can safely explore their thoughts and feelings with empathy and understanding. Central to Anna’s work is the establishment of a strong therapeutic alliance, which she views as pivotal to the therapeutic process. This relationship is built on mutual respect and collaboration, empowering clients to take an active role in their healing journey.
Anna has extensive experience with adults navigating a variety of challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and physical health-related difficulties, including cancer and pain, substance use, low self-esteem, burnout, and work-related stress. Anna’s area of expertise is understanding the connection between physical health and mental well-being. She recognises that dealing with pain or health-related concerns can have a significant impact on your emotional well-being. Anna is also particularly attuned to the importance of cultural considerations, such as race, religion, age, disability, and sexuality, upholding an inclusive and respectful space for all clients.
