At our practice in Oxford Circus (W1W), all of our therapists are qualified psychologists, psychotherapists or counsellors. They are registered with several professional bodies, including the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), the British Psychological Society (BPS), as well as, BACP, UKCP and BABCP. They use CBT (Cognitive behavioral therapy), psychodynamic, humanistic and integrative approaches, tailored around your needs to help you deal with your challenges and reach your goals.
Please meet our team
My name is Jo, and I am a passionate, dedicated, and highly experienced CBT and EMDR practitioner who supports adults with a variety of mental health, emotional, and behavioural difficulties. My goal is to help those who feel trapped under the heavy cloud of depression or the constant noise of anxiety to break free from the patterns holding them back, reclaim their lives, and move from simply surviving to truly thriving. I provide a warm, compassionate and entirely non-judgemental space where you can safely explore your challenges.
I hold full BABCP accreditation and bring 13 years of clinical experience working directly with the NHS and the mental health charity Mind. In recent years, I also completed specialised post-qualification training in adapting CBT for long-term health conditions. I offer structured face-to-face clinic sessions, and I am also fully comfortable working remotely online, ensuring we can work collaboratively in the way that best suits you to achieve your goals.
In our work together, I draw on my CBT and EMDR backgrounds to guide our sessions. We will always begin with a full assessment, often looking at your past and exploring how experiences link directly to your present challenges. Together, we will assess your situation and formulate a personalised treatment plan built around your individual needs and goals. My approach is highly collaborative, focusing not just on understanding your difficulties, but also on equipping you with practical, lifelong tools to manage them.
