Please meet our team
I studied at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece, where I completed both my undergraduate studies in Psychology and my postgraduate clinical training in Clinical Psychology. I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the European Federation of Psychologists’ Associations (EFPA). I am also member of the Association of Clinical Psychologists (ACP-UK) and the Association of Infant Mental Health (AIMH-UK).
I have been employed in various NHS settings, including adult primary and secondary care mental health services, CAMHS and inpatient forensic psychiatric settings.
I work from a variety of perspectives including psychodynamic and attachment models, CBT, integrative, and couples interventions. I have wide-ranging experience of working individually with adults of all ages from diverse backgrounds, cultures and identities. I aim to build a trusting relationship in which emotional discomfort can be explored in a non-judgmental setting. Together we will look at your current difficulties whilst keeping in mind your past experiences and relationships, so that connections begin to be made. This way, a better understanding of some of your thoughts, feelings and behaviours can help you to feel less stuck and to increase your compassion for yourself and for others.
Additionally, I have worked as a Senior Perinatal Clinical Psychologist in the NHS with parents and their babies who have needed support with emotional difficulties including pre- and post-pregnancy related anxiety and depression, miscarriage and reproductive loss, difficulties with attachment, re-emergence of childhood trauma and difficulties in couple’s relationship. I can offer psychological interventions for individuals and couples who are pregnant or are parenting following IVF treatment, donor conception or surrogacy. I can also offer parent-infant sessions which focus on how you can improve your attachment relationship with your baby.
