They are registered with several professional bodies, including the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), the British Psychological Society (BPS), as well as, BACP, UKCP and BABCP. Please meet our team
Hello, I’m a chartered counselling psychologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. I have over 15 years of experience across the NHS and private sectors and practice various therapeutic models. I would describe my approach as integrative, which means I would tailor my work with you based on your individual needs.
I aim to offer a non-judgemental, safe space where you feel validated and heard. We’ll work together through a trusting relationship to help you to address the challenges in your life.
My overall approach is rooted in Existential therapy, which aims to help you to make choices that enable you to live more authentically. Together we’ll explore your lived experience and make sense of the paradoxes, conflicts and dilemmas you may be facing.
During the course of our work together, and in collaboration with you, we may also draw on other tools from technique-based approaches such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based therapies such as acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behavioural therapy skills work (DBT) and compassion focused therapy (CFT).
The duration of our work together will be determined by you, your needs and preferences.
I believe that individuals are inherently capable of personal growth, even when faced with the most demanding challenges in life. While adversity can be life-altering and incredibly destabilising, the choice to face such challenges can also bring about renewed purpose, meaning and wisdom and approaching them via a therapeutic relationship can be hugely beneficial.
I look forward to meeting and working with you.
